1st Offical G.I. Joe Movie Photos

No tease here, kids. Here’s the one and only Snake Eyes from the upcoming live action G.I. Joe film:

I don’t think that there’s a lot of commentary needed here, but I will say these are fucking awesome. Yep, I used an actual swear word on Toy Bender. These images call for it. I can’t believe how close they came to the actual costume without looking totally ridiculous. This isn’t some crazy re-imagining or updated style, this is what Snake Eyes should look like in real life. I also love the addition of his clan symbol on the outside of the costume. Awesome. If this doesn’t give you hope that they are taking at least the look of G.I. Joe seriously, I don’t know what will.

    definitely plays up the “ninja” part of the character - you can barely see anything! His gun almost disappears in that second shot. Still, that’s one excellent design…

    As someone with no vested interest in the franchise, I’m looking forward to this flick, and these photos do nothing do hurt that anticipation. I’m expecting a fun movie, and I think I’m gonna get it.

    I like Sommers…he’s like Michael Bay without the insanity.

    I kind of wish it was commando Snake-Eyes and not ninja Snake-Eyes, but this is definitley the most iconic look he’s had and it does look awesome.
