This Lego creation is utterly fantastic.

Seriously, that’s a work of art. It perfectly captures the mechanical side of the bio-mechanical look of the Aliens in a way that really works more than it should. I’m not exactly sure why the Chestburster is tan, but the lighter color does help to highlight the individual Lego pieces a little more, giving you a better appreciation of what makes up this Chestburster. You’ve got to love how the Lego “blood” is pooling outside of the base too.

I’ve got to give this the official Toy Bender cool stamp. It’s too cool for school and thankfully, it’s summer right now:

    Keep a brick-loving eye on http://www.brickshelf.com for tons of cool stuff like this. I get a huge kick out of guys creating old toys out of Legos… You find some of that over there.

    About this Lego Alien… It’s nuts to think that this thing is only about 8×8″. Great Detail & Photography make the boys drool.

    I gotta respect these Lego artists. I quickly lose patience just following the instructions included in the kits. I couldn’t imagine the logistics of these folks’ work.
