Amanda Waller and Some Ranting
Fans of the Justice League Unlimited series of figures sold exclusively at Target might be pleased to learn that they will have the chance to own an Amanda Waller figure in the future. While she might not fit the typical look of a comic book character, she certainly had a lot of impact in the Bruce Timm animated world of the DC Universe:
Based on every other JLU release so far, you’ll probably have to buy a big pack of figures that you don’t want or need to get her. Worse yet, the pack will probably contain at least one of the original Justice League characters like Batman or Superman, despite the fact that the line is now aimed at adult collectors. Seriously Mattel, enough with the filler figures. I wanted Galatea super bad until I realized I would have yet another Superman and a Huntress, which would be the third friggen Huntress in our household. If the line is for collectors and not just kids, then stop putting in main heroes that aren’t variants into the multipacks. I’m willing to bet that the average JLU collector has roughly three dozen Superman and Batman figures laying around the house.

I just hope they make the rest of the cast, too–Bull, Harry, Mac, Christine, and especially Dan.

Hehe… way to run with my Night Court reference!
Think of the accessories for Harry Stone! He could have a hat, deck of cards, etc. They could have him in his robe, and a variant of him in a suit… or would it be the other way around?
Bull could have ramming action a la Ram Man!

I’m totally with you, Paul: the things Mattel is doing with this line now are the same things that made it fail in the first place…
