Battlestar Galactica Toys: On the way!
Way back when I first started writing for Toy Bender I had posted a most wanted list for Battlestar Galactica figures and vehicles (Part 1 Here and Part 2 Here). Mainly, it was my way of begging for Battlestar toys. Well, Diamond Select looks like the company that will answer my challenge.
Here’s the meat of their announcement:
We are proud to announce a partnership with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to manufacture action figures and ships based on the SCI FI hit original series, Battlestar Galactica!
DST plans to release the first action figure assortment this summer. The debut series will feature several key characters from the smash-hit series, including the seductive Six herself! Specific product announcements, as well as timetables for their release dates, will be featured in future Diamond Select Toys communications and at next month’s American International Toy Fair.
So it looks like Six is one of the figures and we don’t have any ideas what kind of scale we are looking at. Still, Battlestar Galactica fans that want plastic effigies from their favorite show now have something to be happy about. As Commander Adama says, “Rock on!”

I still think they need to take your original list heavily into consideration, what with you being a toyologist and all.
