For the three of you who enjoy your fill of War Dawgz videos on Sunday, I must apologize. I’m heading down to the big Star Wars Celebration this weekend in L.A. and I ran out of time to do any updates. I’ve got one Monday to keep you from losing your minds, but hold on tight for some (hopefully) neat Star Wars Celebration toy coverage.

To be honest, I’m not even sure why I’m going. Just when I like Lucas has sucked as much money out of me as he can, yet I still keep throwing more at him. Maybe this trip will help me get in touch with my inner Star Wars nerd… or lose him forever. Let’s hope the getting back in touch part.

In light of the lack of War Dawgz, maybe watching a child have a complete mind meltdown over a Pokemon card will make you feel better.

In only a few short months Toy Bender has risen from nothing to something that will soon crush the vast bloggity blogosphere with its mighty power of cool. It will do so with the legions of fans joining the ranks each day. Now we are looking for more. While you SAY you like Toy Bender and that you support it, do you really? You certainly may THINK you’re a huge fan of all the awesomeness that can only be found here, but do you really have the guts to prove it? Hello Toy Bender fans and those of you randomly popping in from search engines. Toy Bender has been around for a few months and is blowing up, so as a responsible Blig Bloggidy Blogger I thought I’d keep you all up to date on all matters Toy Bender thus far.

Now let me get this out of the way first:

I love my cat. My cat is great. Don’t you just love my cat!?

Sorry about that. Since every blogger on Earth has a cat and feels like telling you all about how great it is even though nobody cares about the damn thing except the owner, I thought I had to make a cat post. While I don’t have a cat, I figured a random googled cat would be a nice stand in.

I’m writing this post just to let everyone out there know that starting Saturday there may be an interruption to your daily dose (sometimes two) of Toy Bender. I’ll be going on a two week business trip (cubical job related, ugh) and after that I’ll be on vacation for a week. I’m not sure about how much access to the internet I’ll have or free time I can spare to post updates. The situation will be monitored, however. I’m told that a guest may come to the rescue and give you your toy news fix with the deadly skill of a ninja and the family friendly humor of a muppet. Hopefully not Fozzie… wocka wocka wocka!

You can smell it can’t you? That fresh aroma of newly opened plastic that smells like a pool toy? That, my friends, is the smell of my new Blog. (I’ll just say right now that I hate the word blog, but I also hate the word automobile and both are commonly used now, so I guess I’m stuck with it.) Hopefully, I can provide you with all the toy collecting news you want in a way that’s fun to read. I’d like to hear from anyone who might have a particular interest that I should cover, otherwise its going to be boring with me dictating what’s important or what’s not.
