Another week, another round of Star Wars Nerd Questions! To be honest, there weren’t a whole lot of questions that were that exciting or super nerdy. There’s some decent stuff in here so you shouldn’t be too disappointed if you choose to click on the more button. Man, I’m a terrible self promoter.
G.I. Joe fans, wanna know what’s in store for the future of the Joes? If you do, Hasbro has answered questions from across the interwebs and I’ve put the best up on here, much like I do for the Star Wars questions. Unlike the Star Wars questions, none of them will make you squirm. Think of it as a nice vacation away from having to cringe.
I’ll be honest. The last round kind of sucked. Everyone let off on the nerd gas pedal, but this week there’s a few uber-geeks that decided to floor it. There’s also some great questions that have some informative answers, but let’s be honest. We’re only here for the cringe inducing questions.
I’ll tell you, it’s not as fun doing these Nerd Questions features for toy lines that aren’t Star Wars. For one, I know where I can find all the sites that have questions for Hasbro. For another, the questions aren’t as terribly stomach churning. Oh well, I suppose my non-Hasbro coverage has suffered a lot lately so let’s see what I can dig up…
It’s hard to believe that the next round of Star Wars Nerd questions is here. Really. It only seems like yesterday that we were assaulted by massive social retardation and yet here we are again. This round was particularly interesting because it seems like most sites pumped up their nerdery by a factor of ten. Are they competing for the coveted Ultra Geeky AwardTM? Most likely not, because no one has sent me an angry email over it yet. Let’s see how long I can go before it all blows up!
Nerd question time again, peeps! Even if you don’t like Star Wars toys you really should give this feature a read. It will teach you a thing or two about nerdom and the more you know, the more you’ll be prepared for the post apocalyptic nerd wars.
Oh boy, talk about exciting. While I was a bit down and out there was all kinds of toy goodness just waiting to be analyzed and reported on. In this case it’s the “newest” round of Hasbro’s questions to nerdy Star Wars toy questions.
Boy oh boy, the nerd train keeps on rolling. This actually came up last week, but I’ve had all kinds of trouble with my internet access and I lost the original version of this post, so this is up a little late. I’m sorry to delay your injection of the best toy related nerdiness that the internet has to offer. Anyway, here’s this month’s round of Star Wars nerd questions to Hasbro:
It looks like Mattel emulating Hasbro’s openness when it comes to answering questions from fan sites. Somehow this missed my radar, but they’ve been having Q&As with some toy collecting websites just like Hasbro does. I collected what I could find and am sharing the best ones here much like I do for Hasbro’s Star Wars and G.I. Joe questions. I do this as a service to you. Well, I also do this because it’s kind of easy to do, but let’s put the focus more on you.
Time marches on and once again another round of questions from around the web smacks Hasbro in the face with varying degrees of social awkwardness. I really wonder how long I can keep doing this before I piss off the entire toy collecting population on the internets… sigh someone has to do it though, and that someone is me.
For those of you how enjoy the Hasbro Answers Nerd Questions features I run, I decided to take a look at the G.I. Joe questions they’ve been answering. What’s amazing is that on the whole, the questions aren’t nearly as nerdy or hilarious as the Star Wars centered ones. Still, I figured you might want to see some of the answers I found the most interesting, or at least get links to where you can see the answers for yourselves. If anything, it at least lets me use an image from one of the most awful scenes in the entirety of the G.I. Joe cartoon series.
