Clone Watch: Clone Wars Clones

It’s been awhile since I had a good old fashion Clone Watch, especially since I’ve been trying to change the direction of the blog from “toys I want to buy” to “toys other people might want to buy.” Still, these clones might be of some interest.
AT-TE Assault Squad
If you bought an AT-TE you might be interested in this battlepack consisting of five kick ass repainted clones. I’d normally be interested in this set, but they’re the animated style clones. Auto-pass on this one.
Clone Wars Wave 5
Wave 5 of the Clone Wars figures contains a set of characters that have already been released. I’m praying that they make the space clone in the non-animated style. The red animated clone here might be worth a purchase for that super sweet mini-gun. Also note the evil R3 unit from the series. I so have to buy him.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget that there’s the first Jar Jar figure released since, well forever.

Huh. Maybe that’s how I can bring in more than 2 or 3 replies per post, heh-heh-heh.

I’ll take this opportunity to once again point out the almost zero visual difference between animated and “real” clones. I understand sometimes you just can’t buy something you want, but that doesn’t mean you need to fabricate excuses for why. We’ll accept “I’m poor” as a reason…

Sorry, there’s enough of a difference to me that makes me not want them.

There are a couple of figures I wish they would make in non-animated form.
