Clone Watch: Entertainment Earth Reveals Another Exclusive

It seems like Entertainment Earth can’t stop revealing figures from their 14 figure exclusive Mandalorian set. The first reveal lately is a figure that was first shown in the latest issue of ToyFare (yeah I know, I haven’t reviewed it yet). This figure is a variation on the ever popular characters from the game Republic Commando.

As you can see he’s only a variant, but damn it he’s black! The only thing holding me back from being ultra-excited is I hate that Commando body. Why didn’t they make them with bendable knees? Why!? How can you be all commando doing all kinds of commando like things if your knees don’t bend? That’s not commando in my book, that’s not even commando in Russia.
The next figure is another Mandalorian variation, this time with the name Dred Priest, whose name obviously comes from The Big Book of Cool Names. It was right before Dash Rendar.

Dred looks pretty kick ass for a repainted Mandalorian. It’s too bad he’s got a bit of his neck sticking out there. Can’t Hasbro give him a scarf or something?
Here’s the figures so far in this exclusive set:
The first female Mandalorian
Clones in Training
The first announcment
toy, toy collecting, star wars, boba fett, mandalorian, Hasbo, Entertainment Earth

Ugh, the black one doesn’t even begin to look like a ‘Mandalorian.’ Now they’re just making stuff up.

Snark, he’s a clone from Republic Commando, but yes he is entirely made up. heh

The two Clone Troopers with bantha skull symbols painted on their chests didn’t look very “Mandalorian,” either, but they still add to the set. Gotta have somebody to shoot at, after all…
