Yeah, there’s not a whole lot of toy related stuff going on this week, but I kind of expected that as we are still coming off the high that is Comic Con 2008. What’s great is that it seems to be contest season now so I thought I’d update you with the ones that I know about:

Unleaded Logic is having a contest were he’s giving away an exclusive Toys R Us Halo 3 Spartan. That’s a pretty damn good prize if you’re a Halo nut. He’s also offering a couple of lucky runners up a “limited edition 16×20 Halo 3 Series 2 Vinyl Poster featuring all the figures from the campaign of series 2.” Shew that’s a mouthful.

Old Man Musings is still accepting submissions for the Comic Con swag contest. So why don’t you go over there already and sign up? It takes like a second! Jeez!

Now if you run a site that’s giving away anything toy related let me know and I might give you a shout out! Or if you are a PR company wanting to reach a super awesome audience, then send me some prize material!

    Paul, there’s no reason you can’t jump on the contest bandwagon. How about you give away them cookies and beer you won’t be needing any more?

    I ran a contest recently and even extended it additional days and got TWO entries from the same guy. I even ran a poll to see if anyone would enter and got more than a dozen voters, 11 willing to try.

    Ah well I’m gonna do something up special for this guy.

    Man that rots Esbat. Maybe you should promote it more or something? I dunno. When I do contests I try to make it so it takes the least amount of effort possible to enter.
