Crimson Guards, Attack! Star Wars Figure Update.

I just received my pre-order of the first of the expanded universe two packs this weekend and it is sweet. It’s the Crimson Empire themed set that includes Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos. If you don’t have any idea who they are, don’t worry. The Star Wars Expanded Universe blows, and this is coming from a huge Star Wars fan so you know it must suck. However, if you still are curious this set comes with an issue of the Dark Horse comic series “Crimson Empire.”
If you’re a “keep um in the package” kind of a collector like me, then you won’t be disappointed. If you want to take them out, I really can’t comment except they seem to have a decent amount of articulation and their awesome Crimson Guard helmets come off. Their attack staffs or whatever they are called are pretty wicked as well. Hmmm I may have convinced myself to buy another one of these just to have one to open.
I’ve already got a boatload of regular Crimson Guard figures (If you want to make any decent Imperial procession scene you need muscle for the Emperor), but these guys look just different enough to warrant a purchase. You could also even have these guys lead their own army of Crimson Guards if your an army builder like myself.
Where can you get them? Since I don’t have any toy store sponsors, (hint, hint toy store sponsors) I can’t recommend anyone other than Star Wars.com’s website as a default if you want one. Now if you excuse me, I have to stare at these guys and reflect on how cool they are.

Pretty sweet. I vaguely remember reading a few of the comics in that series. I think it was online maybe. anywho, the figures are pretty sweet. It would be really awesome if some vendor (hint-hint) would sponsor you.
