Custom Figure Corner: 25th Anniversary Ninja Force Storm Shadow
I think I’ve covered the fact that I love Storm Shadow more than zombies love brains, so my insta-love of this custom Storm Shadow should come as no surprise:

This Storm Shadow is based on the 90s Ninja Force costume. It’s not the most popular of his different looks, but I’ve always kind of liked it. Hell, it’s the only RAH G.I. Joe I have mint on card… partly because it’s the only Storm Shadow I can afford that’s carded. I never liked the actual figure that much in terms of poseability because he’s hampered with stupid Ninja Force gimmick action. I mean really, 3 3/4ths scale G.I. Joes shouldn’t have karate chop or kicking action. They should have holding swords and guns action, thank you very much. A 25th Anniversary variant would be accepted by me so I could at least have a version that could be posed decently.
Granted, it doesn’t look like a whole lot of customizing went into this except for painting and a little work near the shoulders, but the paint job and minor sculpting looks pretty damn good to me. Now Hasbro, let’s get crack’en.
