Custom Figure Corner: A Fuggen Cool Transformer
Every once in awhile a toy collector will rise above the rest and inspire us with some cool custom. The guy over at KingBotz.com has certainly done this, because he’s created one of the coolest Transformer customs I’ve ever seen. It’s a five foot tall Devastator made from Tonka trucks:
Here are some high points from the website:
They start at his legs which are both pivotal rotating in and out. The very special feature of Mixmaster is his electrically functional cement barrel that goes left or right at the flick of a switch…. both arms are possible at the shoulders and elbows, and both forearms pivot as well. The right hand also will comfortably hold Megatron, Galvatron, Shockwave or the luminary Decepticon sword. His upper torso also pivots left or right, head turns left or right with light-up eyes and a crane boom that flips to the front and telescopes as well.
While Devastator is fuggen cool, the website is not. For a guy who can make a giant Transformer out of Tonka trucks, you’d think he could make a website that was a little easier to navigate, wasn’t really ugly, or had pictures you could actually make bigger than the tiny .jpgs on offer. Seriously, if you’re going to have bikini chicks standing next to your toy, you better make it so the bikini chick isn’t the size of a postage stamp.

I’m guessing they are hired models. You can get a hired model to do anything (within reason) hehe
