DC Infinite Heroes Are… Man Why Do I Try?
So after seeing the beauty and majesty that are the Marvel Universe figures, the New York Comic Con had some more DC Infinite Heroes figures on display. Sadly, they again don’t look as good as Hasbro’s Marvel line. Somehow I still manage to find them serviceable enough for me to want to purchase them. What is wrong with me?!

It’s nice to see the Joker finally joining the line-up. I’m digging the cane accessory. I also like the effort they are putting into the packaging to show that they can be a little bit more dynamically posed.

Here’s Batman being Batman like. I don’t think this particular version was released yet. I have to admit that I like the blue/gray look over the more realistic black/gray. I guess I’m silly that way.

Here’s Mary Marvel who was the victim of a retarded storyline where she turned evil. I’m glad to see her in her good girl outfit. I do wonder if that cape is stuck in that stupid wind blown look.
If you’re looking for more robust news on the line, Toy News International had some reporting worth noting. The Anti-Monitor points that will be not as worthless during SDCC have been announced. 50 points will get you a 3 3/4″ scale Anti-Monitor (of you can buy one for 10 bucks). If you have 25 points you can get an entry to win this crazy, 30″ action figure with light up eyes. There will be one given away each day of the con.

I guess that’s awesome for anyone going to the San Diego Comic-Con. *grumbles*

Hey the little SDCC Anti Monitors will be available for sale on Matty Collector soon!
And dude, the Joker I saw at the store was wicked, but I’m not sure if it was a variant or not. Poop.

man, I think Infinite Heroes are just a joke Mattel is pulling on us, and even *I* kind of like the Anti-Monitor.
The big one. The only one that matters…

I wish the detailing was a bit better but I’m glad Mattel is using the DC brand to make tons of figures. The small scale ones are pretty affordable and I’ve been trying to find new ones at our local shops.
As a child of the 80s it totally brings me back to the Kenner days.

Well,I used to think these figures were pretty crappy, but today I got a couple more, and opened up the ones I did have, and when you open up a few and pose them all toghther, they are really cool. Yes,individually these guys don’t look like much, but the point is with little monetary or space investment, you can amass a whole big array of heroes and villians. I’m definately in this for the long haul, and I now have a burning need for the Green Arrow/Canary/Lantern set.

My wife would have loved that set, but Canary is just so ugly!
