Dear Hasbro… please already with the stickers…

Dear Hasbro,
How’s it going? Good? Awesome. Hey, I have something that I want to bring to your attention. Recently while not working I saw a thread on HissTank.com that exploded with complaints. I know, I know you are used to the angry internet masses that get upset for no reason, but in this case I really think it would be beneficial to you as a company if you listened to us just this one time.
Stop with the stickers on G.I. Joe vehicles already. We know that you are trying to make fantastic displays of the G.I. Joe vehicles in window boxes, but the people that are putting the stickers on are doing a horrible, horrible job. I think they may be blind or a developing case of Parkinson’s. This does not please either MIB or loose collectors. In fact it makes us furious. If we want the option to screw up our own stickers, please let us. I don’t like the idea that something was messed up this badly in order to make it look “better” in the package.
Personally, I’ve only purchased one vehicle pack and was pissed when I saw that both Serpentor’s Air Chariot and the Armadillo had stickers that were awkwardly placed. I had to pass up on the only Trouble Bubble set I’ve found so far because of a sticker that was so badly placed. The only solution to fixing these errors is by taking them off and going to a third party to get better stickers. This sucks. Please let the Chinese children that are putting the stickers on so poorly know that it’s time to stop and do something else like make Nikes.
Also, could you send me free toys? That would be super awesome.

RE: Flat decals on convex/curved surfaces.
So lets say for example you have a circular Cobra logo decal, and you want to place it “perfectly” on the cockpit bubble of a Cobra Flight Pod.
Cut a very small 0.25 mm (or less) slice out of the decal, right up the very center, in-between the coils, and then remove it. If you’re having a hard time picturing this, just imagine me pulling the smallest slice from a Cobra-shaped pizza without messing up the toppings. =)
Apply the decal “eyes-first” and then smooth out the bubbles toward the center bottom. If you do it right, there will be no folds or bubbles. This works on bootleg decals as well.

Nevertheless, I agree completely with Paul’s post.
I was referring to the thread over at the tank. >;)

Somehow I didn’t even realize this when I’ve been ogling at the new vehicles.
My birthday’s coming up so I was planning on using some of the money I know’s coming to me in order to get some of those vehicles… But it looks like my money might be better spent preordering a case of the next wave.. Which I am very excited for. Para-Viper for the win!

Not all the stickers are bad Michael, but there’s a few that are pretty off. That’s why I’d like to see a vehicle before buying, to make sure I don’t get a real turd.

I don’t feel like your kisses and hugs at the end were sincere.
Just sayin’.

You’re right. …there should be no pre-applied stickers on GI Joe vehicles. It’s really an over sight on what the consumer really wants. It’s funny, You’re not just speaking for the adult collector, but for any kid out there who enjoys model building. I recall how I had such a sense of pride after skillfully applying the decals on my mid 80s vehicles. It was a great experience.
If they can do it for Transformers (The reissues), then there should be no big issue with making it happen for the joes. What’s the deal?

*laughs at your plight*
In your face Joe collectors!
*goes back to worrying about the trouble he went through finding a Guy Gardner DCIH figure with a good paint job and how this will effect his October hunt for a Power Girl*
