Doc Gets Arm Surgery

In a move that is sure to delight many and anger just as many, the news broke this last week that the mail-away Docs that are still heading their way stateside have had a running change. The super unpopular “Duke arms” on Doc have been changed so they pivot higher up, instead of the middle of the arm. Why should you care if you aren’t a Joe collect? Because it’s kind of funny if you think about it.
With this running change, Hasbro has created a new segment of Joe collecting. First you’ve got the first run Docs with the silver foil logo, then you most likely will have the Docs without silver foil, and now you have docs with new arms without silver foil. This is enough to make a completest with cash cream their jeans and those without money to hang themselves. Expect to see at least one of these (whatever is the most rare) on eBay with an AFA certification going for about a billion dollars in the near future.

Point taken. I love this change.
What I want to see is an example of a (carded) completist that has managed to truly keep up the entire 25 year run, variants included.
In advance, I promise to shit bricks.
P.S. Spacemonkey is dead wrong. It’s not always about what’s “oldest.” As if inve$ting in an 80s relaunch wasn’t a bad enough idea to begin with, we get comments like his.

Makes no difference to me. I’ve got the first “1 on” version with the silver foil. Have no plans to get any other other versions.

Great, now I have a mental image of some guy in his parents’ basement creaming his jeans. Thanks Paul!

I ordered mine back in the beginning of June, and I am starting to think they won’t send me mine. I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE ARM, I JUST WANT IT NOW!!! WAAAAA!!! (baby rant over)

They just cashed my check this last week. So I’m thinking I’ll get one.
Of course my Captain Rex was cashed too and I still haven’t gotten one of those.. argh.
