Dr. Who and Hellboy Go Cute

It seems like every franchise is getting both small and cute after the success Hasbro has had with the format. First up is Dr. Who and if you’re not at least a little in Dr. Who, I must question your nerd credentials (I’m looking at you Poe Ghostal).

I’ll admit it though, I kind of lost interest in Dr. Who when David Tennant came aboard. I loved Christopher Eccleston. There I said it. I’ve been holding it in for years, but I really don’t like David Tennant. He’s facial expressions just drive me crazy.

Anyway, Hellboy also joins the rank of cute baby like characters with it’s BPRD Buddies by Mezco:

Sweet ass.

    These Mezco toys are pretty cute and I might get a couple (esp. the Daleks) if I find them in the store for cheap.

    Interestingly enough I only came back on board with Dr Who when David Tennant began. (I might loose interest with this new, young Doctor, Matt Smith - Exterminate!)

    I totally want some of those tiny Daleks! I’ll really want some of them if CO manages to give them at least one point of articulation.

    I prefer Eccleston to Tennant, but I prefer almost any of the old Doctors (McGann didn’t really have a chance, and I rather dislike Colin Baker) to either. Still, while I think Tennant’s okay in his own right, I currently hate him because I found Series 3 and 4 to be absolutely abysmal. (I really blame Davies, but still… Tennant could have pitched fits or walked off the sets or something.)

    Maybe by rabid fans of the new Who, but certainly not me! I much prefer the classic series.

    @PrfktTear: Do you at least acknowledge that Dr. Who is an interesting concept? I think that would help a little.

    Pah! Ninth Doctor uber alles! I know… whichever one wore the stupid scarf is supposed to be “THE” Doctor, but screw him. Christopher Eccleston is where it’s at…
