eBay Madness: Pimp Daddy Darth Vader
Usually the purpose of an eBay Madness post is to make fun of the person doing the selling or to point out a item so worthless and/or odd that it is simply hilarious. Not in this case, my friends. The purpose of this eBay Madness is for the utmost praise. I think we all need to take a moment to recognize the Pimp Daddy Darth Vader custom figure which recently sold on eBay as being one of the greatest custom creations to blow our collective minds.
How could you not love this thing? What other Dark Lord of the Sith would come with his own Swaggersaber or gigantic bling? Unlike the dour, evil Darth Vader seen in the Star Wars films, I believe that this version of Darth Vader would have a thing or two to say about love, life, the Force, and the beth methods for smacking some hoes around. Hey sometime he’s got to teach them who’s boss. Who are we to judge?
From the auction:
SEAL Team Six Customs is less than proud to bring you a tribute to the GI Joe figure, Pimp Daddy Destro! Pimp Daddy Vader!
This is the only one of its kind (thank god!), born from late night brainstorming sessions and outlandish figures, I give you: Pimp Daddy Vader!
Being a Dark Lord of the Sith AIN’T all its cracked up to be. The hours suck, the pay is lousy, tbe boss is a jerk. So, how’s a Darth to supplement his income? By becoming a Sithpimp! Plus, bling is a job perk! A Sithpimp gets his powers from bling! Where else are they gonna let you carry a Swaggersaber??
I can’t believe that this custom sold for the low, low price of 10 dollars. It’s one of the biggest bargains I’ve ever seen on eBay. I only hope that Hasbro has seen this and has enough sense to make something like this for their next hot convention exclusive figure. You really can’t go wrong with the pimp motif spread around the Hasbro licenses. Pimp Daddy Furby. Pimp Daddy Tonka Truck. Pimp Daddy My Little Pony? I think it can be done, nay it should be done. Now were’s my gold paint and sparkly markers at? I got some big ideas.

Is it wrong that I am disappointed in that final bid? I feel it warranted a higher cost…

Are you a little surprised that something like this wasn’t done sooner? Pretty brilliant execution, as far as pimp-i-fying goes.

Agreed. That’s pretty great.
