Five More 25th Anniversary G.I. Joes

by Paul

I’ve heard rumblings about the next set of Joes in the upcoming 25th Anniversary Real American Hero collection, but this is the first time I’ve been able to find pictures of them. Toy News International has got my back with five pics of some super sweet Joes so head on over there and check them out. In the mix you’ll find a a Cobra officer, the hooded Cobra Commander, the second (and easily most popular version) of Snake Eyes complete with Timber. Thank God they’re making Timber, it wouldn’t be a 25th Anniversary without Snake Eyes’ wolf friend. Finally, the fifth figure released is the second version of Storm Shadow.

If you’re a regular Toy Bender reader, then you already know my obsession with Storm Shadow. While I am nuts about the original figure, it’s the hooded/grey camo version that I grew up with and cherished. Hell, even though I played with him all the time and made him the “star” of most of my toy adventures, I barely moved his joints for fear of making him all loose like a rag doll. Damn, I was an odd kid.

Rest assured, if more pictures become widely available for these figures then I’ll be sure to post them here.

The 25th anniversary of G.I. Joes will definitly be a great event especially for Joes fanatics! Though at this time G.I Joes had been one of those ***POSSIBLE SPAM LINK** being sold in the market.

  2. Paul Says:

That’s a neat link, but is this spam? If you really wanted to have a link then you could have contacted me and I’d have put one up instead of going the spam route. If this isn’t spam, I’ll repost the link. Until then consider yourself blocked.

  3. Keith Says:

Stormshadow is supa-sweet. I think if the would have revolved the entire show around him and Snake-eyes, no one would have mind. Ninja’s are just too awesome. or as my youngest would say: “Daddy, I’m a minja.”

  4. Paul Says:

hah, nice Keith. I think I’m bearing down to buy a couple cases worth of these figures. I know I’m buying at least 2 of each of the ninjas so I can have ninja clone commanders.

  5. Keith Says:

Ninja Clone Commanders, That would be awesome in a movie. Commander Cody, would now be taking orders from Ninja Commander Stormshadow… Oh, Yeah.
