Futurama Legos, Sweet

Lego creator Matt De Lanoy has blessed the world with an ultra cool Futurama creation. Check out his Lego take of the Planet Express:

I really don’t have a whole lot to say about this except that’s it’s flipping sweet. He perfectly captures the look of Futurama in Lego form. Hell, the mini-figs look like they belong and aren’t forced into the world of Lego. I mean check out this mini-fig of Bender*:

I really enjoy the buildings and ship, but it’s the little details like the billboards that sell it, especially the billboard for Fry’s beverage of choice, Slurm.

Some may love The Simpsons and while that show was (an occasionally is) pretty damn great, Futurama is still my favorite show for simple gut busting humor. I just get the feeling that the show isn’t so full of itself.

*And for the last time, this blog has nothing to do with Bender from Futurama.
