GameStop’s Exclusive Spartan
Hardcore Halo fans and anyone interested in things that are awesome no doubt will want to pick up every single variation of McFalane’s upcoming Halo 3 series of figure. If you are one of these people then you’ll have to head on over to video game retailer (and secondary home to many greasy, pimply faced 13 year olds) GameStop, and get your exclusive Steel Spartan in Close Quarter Battle armor in March of 2008.
I’m not sure if I’ve missed this before, but parts of the Spartan armor are removable and interchangeable with other figures. That’s awesome unleashed and is yet another reason why Halo fans are going to want to buy multiple figures to mix and match to create their own Spartan army. According to Spawn.com, the removable pieces will be chest and shoulder plates and the helmet. Does this mean we’ll see a Spartan’s face? Probably not.
If you plan on going to GameStop to pick up your Steel Spartan and have never been to one, then be prepared for a barrage of pre-order offers for Madden 2037. Just keep telling yourself that it’s worth putting up with the uber-stink of lonely nerds that has permanently seeped into the carpet and fixtures.
