G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Comic Two Pack Images
In case you were hankering for some more G.I. Joe preview action I’ve got the hook up with a few pics of the 25th Anniversary Comic Book two packs. (click on the pics to enlarge)
Hawk & Scarlett
If you want a Scarlet in more cartoon like colors, then here’s your gal. She comes with General Hawk who is in an older style G.I. Joe uniform. There’s a lot of fans who consider Duke a chump and Hawk to be their man. Well, I’m a Duke man. I’m sorry to say, but I’m used to him being the leader from the cartoons. Hooray for childhood brain washing!
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow
Woah, I bet you didn’t see this one coming! Both Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are presented in more cartoon-like colors. I’m not too sure about the need for this set as there’s a little thing called oversaturation. You know Wolverine? I used to like him until it became law to put him in every single Marvel comic book. Please Hasbro, don’t let these two become the next Wolverine.
Destro and Breaker
Destro might have a little bit of the old cartoon paint job going for him, but he’s also got a shiny silver head something that only the San Diego Comic Con Pimp Daddy Destro has had so far. Hasbro also went a different route with Breaker by putting a bubble of bubble gum in his mouth. It looks neat and fits the character, but here’s to hoping that you can take it out of his mouth or else he’s not going to be very versatile.
Torch and Ripper
If you’re looking to build a Drednock army then you’ll want to get your hands on these guys. Even if you’re not a fan of these guys, you need to buy this pack for the awesome facial hair alone. Remember kids: beards = bad guys.

I’m looking forward to Destro and Breaker - since Breaker’s a character that only ever appeared in the comics and has never had a figure. Neat!
And Hawk is a complete tool. Duke is where it’s at…

[…] two packs via their pre-orders. It looks like Hasbro moving away from mostly just a collection of repaints to putting out some pretty unique characters. […]
