G.I. Joe at Toy Fair 2008
You want G.I. Joe updates? Well, I got one hell of a G.I. Joe update that follows up on the update I did earlier. This one has pictures of items mentioned in that press release and where shown at the 2008 New York Toy Fair along with a new single figure.
G.I. Joe Battlepacks
As you can see here, this is totally Airwolf. By buying everything in the world, you can build your very own M.A.S.S. device from the five episode mini-series. I’m really digging that Cobra diver who I believe is The Baroness. I’m also bugging out over the hatless, cartoon version of Lady Jaye. Yowza!
Vehicle Packs
These set gives fans a chance to get their hands on Sepentor’s Air Chariot. This set is a double must purchase for me, because I was thinking about buying a classic Armadillo on eBay… screw that when I can get a brand new one. In case you’re wondering, this set will also include Sepentor, because that would just be dumb not to have him.
This is another fantastic set. Why? Even the Loose Trouble Bubbles are fetching a rather high price on eBay. The Joe motorcycle is also a classic vehicle that is worth picking up.
Single Carded Figures

There weren’t a lot of single character reveals at Toy Fair, in fact there was only one so far. The B.A.T. makes a return and damn does it look good. It comes with an alternate head and a couple of different arms.
Here’s the VAMP in case you hadn’t seen it’s re-release image before. Looks pretty sweet and a good addition to any budding Joe army.
12″ Joes
These Joes look pretty cool, but I’m not sure they’re really up my alley. I think it’s due to the fact that they have a much more realistic bent than the action figures. I prefer my figures to be much closer to the look of the cartoon, because that’s what I grew up with. Out of the five, my favorite is Flint. I love me some Flint.

It’s funny, I was just thinking about how cool it was when Snake-Eyes got radiated - And now we’re getting a figure of it!!
