G.I. Joe Target Exclusive 25th Vehicles!
When Hasbro dropped the news that there would be vehicles to go along with their 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe line, fans rejoiced (most of them anyway). The first images of the new vehicles appeared on Toy News International the other day and they are an interesting, if not careful, first step into having “new” vehicles for the 25th Anniversary Line. They’re Target exclusives, so you better gear up for stalking the aisles of your nearest Target.
Blue H.I.S.S. with Cobra Tank Driver

The H.I.S.S. has got to be the most reproduced G.I. Joe vehicle of all time. It’s iconic, but I’m pretty tired of seeing this thing reappear every couple of years. Still, if you missed it the last few times it’s been released, here you go.
A.W.E. Striker w/Crank Case

Out of the three re-released vehicles, this is the one I’m most likely to buy. I don’t have one yet, so might as well get one while it’s back.
Night Spector with Grand Slam

The Sharc makes a return again. The last time was a few years ago and it was a Cobra vehicle. Now it’s finally back in Joe hands. Yo Joe! or something…
Hopefully these vehicles will sell well enough that Hasbro will be encouraged to re-release much bigger vehicles. I know it’s too much to hope for a Rolling Thunder, but could we at least get a Skystriker? It probably is, so I’m prepared to scale down my expectations… if they bring out some Trouble Bubbles ASAP.
By the way, if you want to see the pictures in any more detail with their exclusive drivers, head on over to Toy News International right now!

I haven’t really been following toy re-issues the last few years, so this is the first time I’ve seen a H.I.S.S. since the 1980s… and I am practically gleeful.

Then it looks like you’re the target demo hehe.

I like all three of them but I wish they would use the original turret placement on the awe striker. This one seems to be in the back of the vehicle instead of being in the middle.
