Halo Money Shots: New Images of Halo Figures

by Paul

Halo fans, if you want some more Halo toy news I don’t have a whole lot, but I can point you towards McFarlane’s website where they posted some new pictures of Halo figures that will be on our way someday. Or you can just check them out here. Yeah, I’d like that.

Master Chief 2

Master Chief is locked and loaded with a shotgun and a… damn what is that on his back? A Spartan Laser? First one of you to tell me what that is gets… nothing but my respect. But isn’t that what you really want anyway?

Brute Stalker

halomcfarlane001small.jpg

I’m not a big fan of the Brutes, but this guy looks pretty cool… for a Brute.

ODST

halomcfarlane005small.jpg

I’m not real hot on the pose they’ve got the ODST in here. He’s way too stiff, but he definitely potential. In fact, he would look pretty damn cool in a more action orientated stance like one involving him killing a Brute.

Drone

I love the look of the drones in the game, but I don’t like fighting the little jerks. It’s cool to see how great they look here. In Halo 2 and 3 it was nearly impossible to see them in detail since they’re so busy either buzzing around or finding a good hiding spot to sit and think about how to annoy you. Jerks.

Spartan Scout

halomcfarlane002small.jpg

I’m not a big fan of the Spartan Scout helmet, but I kind of dig the armor. The tan color? Not so much, thanks.

Spartan EVA

halomcfarlane003small.jpg

Again, not too hot on this helmet. I’ll even admit that I’m not too hot on most of the new armor they added to Halo 3. I guess I’m a Master Chief purist or something. Regardless, this figure is still cool looking for not being my cup of tea.

Spartan CQB

What happened with the paint on this one? It looks like this Spartan fell into a vat of red nail polish. Regardless, this armor/helmet is perhaps my favorite of the “new” adds.

Well, I hope that was enough for you Halo nuts out there. I can’t wait to see these bastages on toy shelves. I’m getting rather tired of looking at pretty pictures of these guys online or in ToyFare and not having them in 3D. Maybe if we all wish really hard they’ll come out faster or something.

I’m in love. He looks just like from that H3 commercial from a while back.

  2. yo go re Says:

I love variant Spartan armors the same way I love variant Stormtroopers… and I don’t enjoy Halo at all! I’d probably get them all, too, if we weren’t expected to pay $13 for a 6″ figure. Yes, ML and DCSH are pushing that way, but it’s still a few bucks too much.

Maybe Wal*Mart will carry these and hugely undercut everybody else, like they’re doing with the Beowulf toys now? I can only hope…

  3. Unleaded Logic Says:

Still looking good, looks like I have to make another trip to Ikea and buy another display shelf, my current one is filled. :(

    Gimme cortana!
