Hasbro Says More Docs on the Way
If you haven’t gotten your 25th Anniversary mail-away Doc yet, then Hasbro has a message for you. After running out of Docs, Hasbro has sent out a message saying that they are making a second batch of Docs that will be sent out in September. This is good news if you sent in your stickers already and haven’t gotten Doc, or if you’re like me and haven’t sent in your redemption form/sticker yet. I was hoping there would be more comic packs that I wanted to shell out in order to complete the rather ridiculous requirement of six stickers.
Anyway, what’s interesting is that it looks like this second Doc is going to come on a different card. This is guaranteed to pretty much to blow the minds and wallets of MOC collectors that need every variation. If you’re wondering what the new Doc might look like, a new member of the HissTank forums by the name of HInsider posted this image:

Update: I’ve heard word that it’s a fake. Oh well.

Variation extreme! I still have yet to finish off my comic packs. There just aren’t any I terribly want or have the money for. I’d love to get the one with Firefly, but I don’t know if that one’s even out yet, let alone here.
I want Doc, but I might have to miss out on because I won’t pay all $60 to get him.

sent way about the end of june. if it comes later, it comes later. the wife thought that if they ran out she hoped the would refund the money. ahh no. like leno once said “crunch all you want, we make more”

I’m with you on the Comic Packs. I only bought the Tomax/Xamot, Dreadnoks, & Scar/Fred CPs specifically due to the fact that I wanted to reduce the amount of double-dipping. I picked up my extra points through members of Hisstank.
That being said, this new wave of CPs is hard because I deperately want that firefly, but I already have 3 storm shadows.
Curse you Hasbro! And send me my Doc!

I was thinking recently, and I realized I’ve never received any Joe promotion I sent away for. Unmasked Storm Shadow? Agent Faces? I’m still waiting!
