I Think I Will Phone These Fellows About My Ghost Problem
After getting super excited about Mattel’s announcement the other day that there would be Ghostbuster toys, I’m more than pleased to see how fantastically awesome they actually look. The three main Ghostbusting crew were shown off at the New York Comic Con and hot diggidy damn they are amazing:

I don’t think Ray, Peter, and Egon have ever looked so good. Also, customizers should be pretty happy now that they can finally make a Bob Harris from Lost in Translation.
Slimer was also on display and while he didn’t have a lot of articulation, he pretty much captured how the movie Slimer looked down to a G. Get it? “G” for ghost and not “T” like the saying? Man, I’m hilarious.

A Big Thanks to: Action-Figure.com for the pictures.
Also thanks to Poe Ghostal: Because now I think it’s funny to link to him for no reason when there’s Ghostbusters news.

They definitely turned out great. Don’t know that I’ll pick them up, but they do look really good for anyone who does.

I think I’m only buying a Venkman. As a child he was the best part of the movie. Well him and Slimer. And I’m sad because I never got to try any of the HI-C Ecto Coolers.

I just wish they were big enough to mingle with other movie figures. My dreams of a Ghostbusters vs. Nightmare on Elm Street set-up have been dashed, dashed I tell you!
