Joes for Tots: Winner Time!

by Paul

The winners of the 2008 Joes for Tots contest have been chosen and I’m pleased to announce them!

The first Grand Prize Winner is: Sean Hayes
Second Grand Prize Winner is: Chuck Topley
Third Place Winner is: Andrew Swan
Fourth Place Winner is: Miles Akins

Congrats to all! Watch your mail box for the incoming loot.

I’d like to thank the third party judge Emma from Treehouse Jukebox for helping me out. If you’re curious on how we picked I assigned all the contestants a number and had Emma pick a random number four times (without seeing who had what number). The order she picked was the order who won! Yeah, it’s boring stuff really.

Thanks again to all who participated and for helping the Tots and all that good stuff. I enjoyed it and hope to do it again next year.

Wait a minute…you mean I won NOTHING for giving away precious G.I. Joe toys to underprivileged children who don’t even know who Larry Hama is?

I will never donate to charity again. My faith in karma is shattered. Surely I deserved recompense for my selfless giving!

Good contest. Congrats to the winners.

  2. Paul Says:

Maybe you’ll win next year! Karma builds up or something. I don’t know, I haven’t watched enough My Name is Earl yet.

  3. The Articulated One Says:

Congratulations to all the winners! I hope everybody enjoys all their free Joes, especially the kids.

  4. XeQUae Says:

I went to drop off some toys only to find the bin gone at Toys-r-Us. Guess that is what I get for waiting until December 24th. Guess, I’ll just have to give double next year.

    Congrats to the winners.

And great job putting such an Awesome contest Paul.

  5. Emma Says:

    Congratulations to the winners!!

  6. Wes Says:

Congratulations, winners! And congratulations to all of the entrants, because kindness is rewarding, too. :)
