Lego Battleship is Friggen Huge (and a Lego Star Wars item)

I’m sure you’ve all seen the super awesome Lego Aircraft carrier that was built to scale with the mini-figs, but have you seen the 20 foot long replica of the HMS Hood? Check this out:

This massive Lego build sports a working derrick, super fine detail, and a bunch of little boats to go along with the ship, and motorized turrets.

You can read a little interview with the builder, Ed Diment, over on Brothers Brick.com where he reveals that some museums have expressed interest in displaying the beast. That’s not very surprising though, this would be a no brainer for the Museum of Science and Awesome.

And on another note, when did this Star Wars clone trooper tank come out? It’s friggen sweet!

I can’t believe I’ve fallen behind on my Lego Star Wars news. Anyway, I do have a birthday coming up if anyone is strapped for ideas on what to give me….
