Lego News Block: Exo-Force and Mars Mission
I really need to get better sources for my Lego news, because I’m missing some cool stuff. On a recent trip to Toys R Us, I discovered one kick ass Exo-Force set had hit the shelf. More importnatly, I saw a new Lego line that I didn’t know existed previously. It’s about time to do some Lego catch up work.
When the Exo-Force line took off, I thought it was great that there were some anime inspired giant robots in the Lego style that I could call my own. I’m not a big anime person, but I love me some giant robo-suit action. What red blooded nerd doesn’t? This new set is the prime example of Japanese Anime, a robot suit with a ridiculously large and impractical jet pack that looks insanely cool.
The Mobile Devastator set wasn’t at the store, but I found picture of it online the other day so I thought I’d share. Man this thing is big. Like your mom big.
I was also pleased to see the addition of the Mars Mission line to store shelves. There’s some great sci-fi action with a mixed with a tasty flavor of real life space exploration. Plus it’s another chance for humans to fight aliens. You can never have enough alien battling. Check out all the sweetness.
Now that’s what I call hot Lego action.
