Linky Roundy Uppy: Wondercon Weekend

Hey, hey kids! It’s time for some more random links and thoughts. Today will be a bit shorter than usual because I’ve got to catch a train and I really can’t think of anything today. Yep, I’ve got blogger’s block.
Item: Today is Friday and since I’m haven’t started my new job yet and the wife has off that means we get to go to San Francisco’s premier comic book convention, Wondercon. It’s only a train ride away for a lot of walking and lots of smelly dudes with beards. Awesome! It’s looking like I’ll get the chance to meet up with ToyBender reader, one time guest poster, and blogger Savage from Old Man Musings! I might also see our friend Great White Snark there as well.
Item: I’m thinking I need some sort of regular header image for these posts, unless you guys really like random dinosaur pictures. The problem is that I’m only moderately good at image manipulation and I’m extremely lazy.
Item: I’m still fairly obsessed with killing zombies on Left 4 Dead. I’m trying to get an achievement that has you kill over 53,000 of the undead, so far I’m at around 22,000. It kind of makes me want to buy 3 3/4ths generic zombie figures to fight my Joes. Has anyone made anything like that yet? I’m not talking customs here…
Item: Poe Ghostal had a top five list of He-Man vehicles this week. You know, when I was a kid I only had one He-Man vehicle. For some reason I didn’t have much of a desire for vehicles back then, it was all about the characters unlike Star Wars or G.I. Joe, which had it’s fair share of need of characters coupled with an intense desire to have all their need spaceships and tanks that has lasted until today.
Item: This is coming out of left field, but has anyone besides me seen the film The Green Slime? I was just thinking about how awesome it was and how I hadn’t seen it since it was on TNT years and years ago. It needs to be on DVD.
