M.A.S.K. Meets G.I. Joe

Following fan speculation based upon data found in retail computers, Hasbro has confirmed that a character from the 80s cartoon/toyline M.A.S.K. will make an appearance in the G.I. Joe line. Matt Trakker, the leader of the good guys in M.A.S.K., is going to join the ranks of G.I. Joe. While there are no images of the figure yet, I’ll post one as soon as one appears. I can imagine he will look like his original toy form complete with his special helmet.
Don’t get too excited for a M.A.S.K. revival though, Hasbro is treating this as a fun one off. I suppose if there was a huge interested generated in this then there might be more, but that’s pretty unlikely that there will be more M.A.S.K. figures turned Joe. Even more unlikely would be M.A.S.K. vehicles seeing the light of day, so don’t get too excited.

Wow, that is completely friggin’ random.
If they really want to have “fun” with it, they’ll introduce Matt Trakker in his original figure’s size, and all the Joes will laugh and point at him.
