McFarlane Halo 3 Figure Preview
All the pieces are falling into place for Halo fans. First JoyRide studios folds, then McFarlane toys announces that it will be making Halo figures, Master Replicas starts making Halo merch, and now there is a sneak peak at the new Halo 3 figures from McFarlane.
It certainly looks like McFarlane has proven that the Halo license is in good hands. I can’t wait to see the other figures in the line up, since Master Chief is notably absent. I’m also really digging on that Warthog, even though it’s unpainted it totally captures the spirit of the rough riding vehicle. Well done Mr. McFarlane and company.

Every post/article I see about these Halo prototypes complain about Master Chief being absent. Master Chief is absent because they already showed his prototype. And a painted one at that.

Apparently I am the only person on Earth that knows about this.

Man. McFarlane toys are always all hyped-up… and for good reason.

It was my understanding that the Master Chief shown was just a mock up and not an actual prototype.

They look like they have decent articulation too.

Maybe, but McFarlane Toys (or Spawn.com) is calling the Chief an “action figure prototype.” Anyways, Spring ‘08 is a longs ways off for this much awesome. It’s been too long since McFarlane had actual action figures.
