Microscale Lego Imperial Base Sweetness
Tim Goddard is a man who loves blowing my socks off with insanely cool Lego creations. I’m usually not that hot on microscale Lego work, but Goddard’s Imperial Base captures so much awesome into a tiny package, it reminds me of the Speedo I wear to the community swimming pool.
This set has it all from turbo lasers to fully loaded TIE fighter racks. The AT-AT bay is simply amazing. The “gigantic” doors are on tracks. The tiny Imperial shuttle is practically icing on the cake. Be sure to check out more pictures of this work of art over on Goddard’s Flickr account.
And to show my appreciation for this Lego Imperial Base, I present Tim Goddard with an old school cool stamp:

Way to go Tim, way to go.
