Mix Your Blackhole With Your Stormtrooper

Starwars.com is now taking orders for the Medicom 12 inch Shadow Stormtrooper. That’s the black Expanded Universe version of the classic villian in case you’re wondering. This is the second time I’ve reported on an expensive ass trooper, so if you passed on the first one and want to drop a quick hundred and thirty bucks still, here’s your chance.

I’m a little mixed on this whole black Stormtrooper thing. I ordered the StarWars.com exclusive 3.75 inch version awhile back and while it is pretty neat, it can’t really touch the inherant coolness of the clonetrooper varients. Its almost as if Stormtroopers are trying to capture the magic of an orange pinstriped clone. Well, it aint happening. For me, its all white troopers or nothing. Does that make me racist? I hope not.

    Definitely a hot figure. I think I agree, the white stormtrooper has a more sinister feel. probably because white is associated with the good guys.

    btw I picked up a full size (not to be confused with life size)snow speeder and figure for my son’s b-day today. Is was pretty awesome.
