Monte: Sigma Six Collector, Newsmaker, Super Dude

For some reason there are people who feel compelled to keep coming back to the site, but for whatever reason I thank you. One of those who returns and often comments is a fellow named Monte. Recently while browsing Poe Ghostal’s delicious web site praying that someone left a comment on my Short Round post, I saw a link to a news article that was a piece all about him!
Monte is perhaps one of the biggest Sigma Six fans on the planet and he shows his love for them with his cool as hell photos of them over on Geek Creek. The article gives some insight on what he does and why he does it. There’s also a neat little video where Mr. Monte talks about his passion. The only bad deal is that he didn’t get a direct link to his site. Damn you irresponsible journalists!
Not only is it cool that one of ToyBender’s readers was featured in a human interest piece (and a positive one at that), but it looks like Monte is going to be the subject of a short documentary and his photos might now be shown at a local gallery. Now that’s what I call cool.
Congrats, Monte!

D’oh! First attempt at a reply was unceremoniously deleted. Stupid internet.
Ah well. Short version:
Thanks!
And be on the lookout for:
1. Some outdoor shots of the NECA Ninja Turtles.
2. A “Fellow Geeks” entry about Toybender.
You rule, dude. Keep up the geekery.

Also, it was fun going back and reading your “related posts” pertaining to Sigma 6, as they predated my awareness of your site.
…also, is there any way to receive e-mail notification of replies at Toy Bender?
‘Cause damn.

Monte, you can subscribe to the comment feed, but I’m not sure if you can get emails sent to you. I guess that’s the problem with me being the writer monkey and not very skiled in the tech…

Wow, I’m just a day’s drive from there.
One time the wife and I shot photos of me throwing parachute Duke off of buildings in downtown Spokane. Lotsa fun.
