More Aliens Lego Works

It seems that Aliens is so friggen cool that it must make another appearance on this blog in the form of a work of Lego art (check out previous looks at Alien related Legos here and here). This time we have the dropship that inspired almost all other dropships in subsequent science fiction films and games:

It’s hard to believe how cool the Aliens dropship is still as cool looking as when I first saw it.

The APC from Aliens is also mega cool and represented here in Lego form:

It’s too bad that the Lego company would never touch the Aliens property with a ten foot pole. I’d love to be able to purchase these vehicles. I suppose I could figure out how to build my own, but I’m not that clever. I realize that having directions to build sets kind of defeats the entire purpose of having imaginative building blocks, but I enjoy following directions to build Lego sets. I guess I’m just sick that way.

    That rocks. Not sure I would promote the movie to kids though. Just need the terminator vs aliens set.
