My Christmas/Birthday Wishlist
Updated: New items added! Blame Esbat!
With the memory this last Halloween fading and it’s crappiest candy on mega-discount, it’s about time to start thinking about the next major holiday. No, not Thanksgiving. That’s for losers. I’m talking about the big Papa of all delicious holidays, my birthday and after that the slightly less cool holiday called Christmas. It’s high time for my family and friends (ahem, you) to start thinking about what you’re going to give me for a gift for both holy days (or a tribute as it would be more accurately described).
For the purposes of this blog, I’ve decided to limit my wish list to toys. To make things easier for you to find the items I want, I picked toys that are more easily found in stores than items like my vintage wants that would require some hunting and extra effort. You can’t say that I’m not thinking about your best interests here. Seriously, it would be a little much to ask for a gift like the Terrordrome, although it certainly would not be undeserved.
Lego Gunship
Holy crap, I need to get this. The last time I wanted one, but passed what happened was the thing rose to a ridiculous amount on the secondary market. Hell, I even wrote about it in one of the first posts on Toy Bender. This must be mine!
Lego Republic Fighter Tank
This tank is seriously bad ass looking. It doesn’t hurt that it comes with some clones.
Star Wars Comic Two Pack: Imperial Knights Antares Draco & Ganner
Hot damn, guys look cool. I know nothing about them, except they appear to be totally badass. I actually prefer it that way. The less I know about the Star Wars EU, the better my life seems to go.
Water Moccasin
The Water Moccasin is a sweet looking boat. I needs it to push around my carpet while I make motor boat sounds with my mouth.
Ghost Hawk aka Skyhawk
I think I’ve said enough on this subject.
V-19
I love clones and I love Star Wars starfighters, so this one is a no brainer. The V-19 is a great looking that ship that I want, nay desperately need.
V-Wing
Not much to it other than this is a cool looking ride that I haven’t gotten yet.
AT-AP
This is looking like the birthday/Christmas of vehicle wants, mostly because it is. I still haven’t gotten this despite it being a really cool walker that’s associated with clones. Man, what’s my problem?
Action Figure Stands
I realize that these might not be found at most retail stores, but I really need more of these things. These kinds of stands are much more flexible than the kind that come with G.I. Joe or Star Wars figures.
DC Universe Classics
Okay, because Esbat asked:
Firestorm (white guy version): Not because I’m racist. I just love horrible comics. I have quite a run of Firestorm comics. I know that’s nothing to be proud of, but hey everyone has to have a hobby. Plus, I can find them in quarter bins fairly easily. For me, the only Firestorm is the original, high school kid Ronnie Raymond. Sorry, that’s it for me.
Green Lantern: Hal Jordan rocks my socks. He would totally compliment my Super Powers Hal Jordan as Green Lantern figure. And yep, Hal Jordan is my hands down favorite Green Lantern. The others can’t hold a candle (lantern?) to good old Hal. Oh yeah, and my wife totally has a crush on him.
That’s the only ones that I think are out that I want.
Short Round
If you get this for me (and you’re not a relative), I’ll marry you. If I’m already married to you, I stay married to you.
That’s about it for now. I realize there’s not a lot on here, but it is by no means a complete list. I’m sure you’ll wait on bated breath for updates.

I saw the G.I. Joe and Star Wars toys over the weekend and thought the Comic Two Pack was a Tomax/Xamot kind of thing. I didn’t realize it was cool.
I’m still on the look out for the G.I. Joe/Specialist Trakker figure… I’ve got to keep my collecting simple because the economy has flushed my money down the commode and my current toy/comic collection has filled up my abode.

I will never understand your fascination with ridiculous-looking Star Wars vehicles.

DC Universe Classics
There are actually a few DC Universe Classics figures that I’d love to own via a gift purchase, but I don’t expect you to find them in stores. I mean, that would be some sort of crazy person dream.
…
I could use a list you motherfudger.

I’ve been out of town a couple of days, going back home Monday, one of the above items you want I’ll include with your next box from me. And I wont even charge you for it!

“I’ll work on it Esbat.”
That… is ominous.

Short Round is the shizzle.
Now I must go repent and mortify my flesh for calling something “the shizzle”.
