New Kotobukiya Supergirl Statue
Japanese toy maker Kotobukiya has a Supergirl coming out that is hot with a capital *boing*.
I realize that statues aren’t something I cover here because they aren’t toys, but I have to make an exception here. I’ve got a bit of a thing for Supergirl. While I’m not one of those perverts that gets a boner from a drawing of a girl, I certainly have some sort of affinity for the girl in blue. I’m not sure at what point I realized I totally thought that Supergirl was the comic female of choice over any other cartoon lady, but It happened. I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with Supergirl or anything like that. I follow her comics and that’s about as far as it goes, although I did get my fiancee, Diane, to dress up like Supergirl for Halloween. Whether or not that had any impact in my decision to marry her I’m not at liberty to say.
This statue carries that bizarre aura of really hot, while making me feel rather uncomfortable. The version of Supergirl this statue is based on is a teenager and say what you will about the ethics of that, no teen has a waist and implants that look like that who isn’t working illegally in porn. Then again this is a Japanese product, so it’s actually quite a bit more watered down in the breast department than it otherwise might be.

For the record, you didn’t have to do much convincing. We were invited to a “Come as Your Favorite Cartoon” Halloween party, and I wanted to get another use out of my big, red boots. I was already considering it before you even mentioned it. But, you keep on thinking that you had to twist my arm.

I’m not going to pretend, I’m going to convince myself that the decision to dress up as Supergirl was based solely on the fact that you have a desperate need to please me, because I’m teh awesomest guy in the universe.

Now, your next post should be Diane dressed up as supergirl, that would make you the most awesomest guy on earth, even I’d call you it.

Dave, there’s actually a pic of her on the site somewhere of her in the outfit. I’m not going to tell you where though, because I need the hits from you (or anyone else) digging around trying to find it. I hate to dissapiont you, but I don’t think it’s the *ah hem* kind of picture you may have in mind you dirty, dirty British man.
