New (sort of) Star Wars Battlepacks

You may have noticed a slow down in the coverage of Star Wars kind here at Toy Bender. I’m a bit manic so when I get into something, I really get into it and it goes in cycles. Right now it’s G.I. Joe so Star Wars goes on the back burner a bit. Not only that, but there really hasn’t been that much Star Wars toy news and goings on that has excited me a whole lot. For those of you who do go ape poopy over anything and everything Star Wars related, I’m sorry. Anyway, there’s some news of battle pack action that you might like.

RebelScum.com has the news on a couple of new battlepacks… well by new I mean reissued. First up, you’ve got the Jedi Vs. Sith that includes Asajj Ventress, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, General Grievous, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. If you’ll remember Obi-Wan comes in his ill fitting, yet very cool looking, clone fighting gear.

The second set is the one that features the loser Jedi and Darth Sidious from the big Mace Windu vs. Sidious scene in Revenge of the Sith. Seriously, if you’re going to kick the ass of the main Sith bad guy who’s been messing your shit up, why do you take a bunch of no name (in the films) alien Jedi with you? To make yourself look better? Mace was such a douche bag. And what was up with those guys dying in five seconds? They basically ran straight into Palpatine’s lightsaber. Crappiest Jedi ever.
