New Superhero Squad Wave 5
For those of you who dig really cute and tiny superheroes, MarvelousNews.com has images of wave 5 of Marvels Superhero Squad.

I’ve never been a big fan of Wolverine without his costume, but this Logan is fantastic. Just check out his kick ass (yet highly adorable) motorcycle.
The Ultimate version of the Marvel Universe makes an even bigger dent into the Superhero Squad line with one happy ass pairing of Captain America and Nick Fury. What are they so happy about? Killing Nazis and Communists, of course!

Be sure to head over to MarvelousNews.com to check out the rest of the wave.

I really like these but just feel 6-8 bucks is too high of a price point. I’d go 4 dollars tops. Too bad they don’t pack ‘em in singles for like 2. I’d be more apt to pick ‘em up as a passion buy.

I believe they are going to package the Star Wars ones in singles, so if that goes well who knows? That’s one of the reasons I’ve held off buying these guys too. I wanted Captain America, but not Hawkeye. As much as I like him, I didn’t need him that much.

There’s something that bothers me about seeing Nick Fury and Wolverine in this cutesie little bullshit form. Paul, who’s the target here? …aside from folks who just like to possess every genre-related toy that comes out?

Oh, so, self-deluded people?
Heh, just kidding. Everyone’s got their own tastes.

Glad to see everyone is getting along here. heh Well this style of figure was originally intended for really little kids and still gets a lot of sales that way, but a lot of older people buy them too because they’re just so damn cute.

I’LL FREAKING KILL YOU!
No, wait, I mean “cute goes a long way.” The Star Wars ones were surprisingly popular even when they were under the Playskool banner - that’s why Hasbro moved them “in house,” so to speak, and has started milking all their other properties. Though we don’t have GIJoe versions yet.
(Heh - they could call them “Real American Heroes”)
plus, the small size and lack of breakable parts makes them good desk decorations. You don’t have to worry about your coworkers breaking things when they invariably steal them to play with…

I may consider picking one of these up at a clearance sale…they look better than the Star Wars one with gigantic guns and smiling faces. The rebel trooper must be trying to mutilate the sormtroopers with that huge rifle.
@yo go re- Same here! Those “friends” of yours just wanna steal ‘em when ur takin a piss break…
