Toy Fair 2007: News In Brief (continued!)

Just when you thought I was done, kablam! More toy news on the internets.

Pirates of Caribbean at World’s End

Pirates! Here’s a whole pirate boatload of Pirates of the Caribbean toy pictures.

Transformers

If you thought the Chewbacca and Han Solo Transformers that combined into a Millennium Falcon was a dumb idea, how do you feel about a Darth Vader that turns into the Death Star?

Lego

Lego’s got something special for you Lego obsessed Star Wars fans out there. It’s a Millennium Falcon that’s in scale with the mini-figs. Awesome!

Battlestar Galactica

I last reported on Battlestar Galactica figures way back in January and we finally get some pictures of the series. Check out Six, she’s hotter than her real life counterpart!

Star Trek

Here’s some great pics of some sweet upcoming Star Trek figures, including my much loved Khan series of figs, some nifty Next Generation goodness, and some neat-o Mego style classic figures.

Marvel

Want to see some Spiderman 3 toys? Go here. I won’t, because now I’m trying to avoid any more spoilers.

Here’s pretty much all of the info on the toys expected for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. You know what I love about this movie? It guarantees a bunch of new Silver Surfer toys.

DC

Finally, (the REAL) Captain Marvel who is often wrongly thought to be named Shazam gets some loving and gets a great toy series.

Independent Comics

Need more info on the Independent comic book figures coming out? Here’s the whole story.

This little tidbit has piqued my interest, as I didn’t even know it was on the map. Apparently, Warner Bros. has got a direct to DVD Death of Superman cartoon coming out. Here are images of the figures based off this film. They sort of look like they are inspired by the Bruce Timm animated universe, but I’m not going to get my hopes up at all. Okay, maybe just a little.

Back to the Future

No, they no one is releasing a rad set of articulated figures… yet. Instead, Diamond Select has got some Back to the Future Kubricks. Nice.

I’m a dirty spammer who likes to spam. I also don’t know enough English to trick you into thinking that this really isn’t a spam comment. I shall sit and think about my horribly spammy ways now, I’m sorry for bothering you.
