Non-Toy G.I. Joe News
I’ve got a couple of cool G.I. Joe items that I’d like to bring to your attention, albeit they aren’t toy related directly. The first is the full preview of the upcoming G.I. Joe animated series that was only seen at this summers conventions (If you haven’t seen it yet), G.I. Joe Resolute. Kapow!
I can honestly say that I’m way more excited for this than I am for the upcoming live action movie. I’m not looking forward to the fact that characters will die. Yeah, I know it’s war, but I can’t stand when G.I. Joes die.
In other really awesome news, IDW, the company that got the license for G.I. Joe comics, has stated that they will collect all the old Marvel comics in trade. The first two are available for pre-order on Amazon.com (vol. 1, vol. 2)! Sweet! I’ve been waiting for any kind announcement that the old Joe comics would be circulation again.

I’ve been watching that wobbly video for a week now.
Warren Ellis wrote this new animated series; I guarantee it’s going to be the greatest Joe series ever, from any medium.
I’m looking forward to the live action flick for what it is: a big, dumb popcorn flick, like Transformers.
But Resolute is what I’m looking forward to as a fan of G.I. Joe.

I’m very excited for Resolute. I wrote a paper in my Argumentative Writing class about why the GI Joe live action movie should not be made.
And trades of the old comics? Awesome! Maybe it will pull me away from Metal Gear.

Yeah, seeing your favorite characters get bumped off is gonna be hard to take. Especially if it’s like a big fan fave. Sure as heck better not be Wild Bill or Steeler if they’re in it. Or Shipwreck. Polly can get turned to a red puff of feathers but not Shipwreck.

WOW! That looks awesome! Where will it be airing?
