SDCC ‘08: Indiana Jones

One thing I go crazy for at cons are the dioramas that are sometimes displayed by toy makers in order to impress you with their cool action figures. Hasbro has done some of the best I’ve seen with G.I. Joe (although nothing has beaten the Lego ones I posted pictures of oh so long ago). At the San Diego ‘08 Comic Con Toy Bender’s official photographer, Scott McEachen, got a few shots of an Indiana Jones diorama that was teh awesome pants.

Aside from this coolness, Hasbro showed off a few figures in the future of Indiana Jones. You can check them out over on Toy News International if you’d like. The most interesting (at least to me) is that Toht is appearing. Toht is, of course, the evil Nazi interrogator from Raiders of the Los Ark. He is supposed to be coming out with a melted off face variant. Why a variant and not a swappable head? Hasbro likes making money, that’s why.
