Sideshow’s Cobra Troopa

by

Sideshow Toys (who generously donated to this year’s Toys For Tots contest) has announced their newest 12″ G.I. Joe figure, the Cobra trooper and it is bad ass.

Compared to the last two releases, Sideshow’s Cobra Trooper is a steal with the asking price of 80 bucks. It looks like Sideshow has also lived up to their attention to detail and quality, the fellow in the picture looks fantastic and a real threat to the Joe team.

Now here’s my open request to Sideshow: For the love of Crom, please release a Storm Shadow next. I realize it’s not cool to like him because everyone else does, but by all that is unholy I will buy him. I’d also like to recommend a Alley Viper… although I do realize that will never happen. I even got permission from my wife to buy him… if we have enough money for groceries in the same month he’s released.

you mean “recommend AN Alley Viper,” Paul

how much were the other ones? they look pretty Real Ass, but those 12″ dollies take up a ton of room. though they blow anything other than Hall of Fame blue and grey snakes eye w/ giant uzi out of the water

  2. Paul Says:

I suppose I do, but now if I change it, you’ll look like the one with the mistake! This is a pickle.

The other 12″ inchers were over a hundred bucks. Yeah, I own that version as well as the Storm Shadow they made. I couldn’t justify buying both of them now like I want to(if Sideshow makes a Storm Shadow), so I decided to wait and see when/if Stormie will make his appearance.

  3. LastBestAngryMan Says:

Man, the only way I’d shell out Sideshow level scratch for a GI Joe fig would be if their gun fired real bullets. Real, tiny bullets.

Or if it was the kind of doll that satisfied all of mankind’s darkest, most secret desires.

“Or if it was the kind of doll that satisfied all of mankind’s darkest, most secret desires.”

You could enter the contest, win the Luke and then find out for yourself!

  5. LBAM Says:

    I did enter the contest.

    Who knows what might happen?

  6. Paul Says:

Oh yeah, that’s right. So all you other suckers should enter who haven’t yet so you can possibly learn the sexual delights of Luke Skywalker.

Man, this train really went off the rails.

  7. D. Verburg Says:

walk me through this ’signing up to meet sideshow luke skywalker at my house in a box’ step by step

  8. Paul Says:

    1. Buy a toy
    2. Drop it off at Toys for Tots
    3. Get a pick taken of you putting toy in (can even be of your hand throwing it in.
    4. Send pic to me.
