Some Stuff for Friday…
While trying to come up with something for today, I ran across a couple of things that I wanted to comment on. So I guess that means, it’s a classic link round up! I also want to make you kids aware that the reason why updates have been slow here is that I’m in the process of moving. Saturday is the biggest day for moving junk, but then I have to unpack and all that fun stuff. Plus, I have no idea how long it will be until I have the internet again.
Item: KISS Mr. Potato Heads have to be one of the most useless toys ever. I may be lighting a fire here, but I’ve never really liked KISS’s songs. “Rock and Roll All Nite” is about the only good one and it gets tiring after about 45 seconds.
Item: Is this too soon? I mean, the Micheal Jackson only died a little while ago and we’re already getting a zombie Micheal Jackson?
Item: If you haven’t yet seen this video of Patrick Stewart in Extras watch it. It’s hilarious and it’s my new favorite thing.
Item: In case you were wondering (probably not), my attempt to sell things at Dinosaur Toy Vault is going okay. If you want to get rid of your stuff and don’t want to use eBay I can confirm that eCrater is worth a shot. Still, I currently get a few orders here and there, so you never know when something is going to sell (or not). I also can’t figure out how to combine shipping on orders without doing it manually.

I like looking at this KISS Mr. Potato Heads more than looking at the actual KISS, though. They’re kinda cute!
As for the Michael Jackson doll…it’s never too soon to cash in on a celebrity death!

Black Diamond is a sweet song, which the replacements covered and made even better. also the Peelander Z cover of detroit rock city is pretty hilarious. kiss was also on a ramones tribute, so they’re not all bad!
as for Extras, the few i’ve seen have always been super funny, and the Patrick Stewart one was the first one i saw. the harry potter kid one was good too.

I don’t hate on KISS because you have to give those guys credit (Mostly Gene) for marketing the hell out of their band. I tend to agree though. I don’t think they’re a bad band exactly, but they have maybe 5 songs that I’d consider putting onto a shuffle.
The Potato Heads are cool if only it screams the image that they will put their faces on anything.
But I don’t blame them for marketing the hell out of the image. There are certainly more annoying bands out there.

Who can get full off of one yogurt? Honestly now….it’s starting to piss me off.
