Sponsor Spotlight: Brian’s Toys

by Paul

You know what’s awesome? Brian’sToys.com. Not only did they help sponsor the Joes for Tots contest, but they’ve got a lot of great toys. Plus, they’re from Wisconsin and I have some sort of odd state pride attached to them. Us Wisconsinites are a great people, like the ancient Vikings except there’s less pillaging and more beer drinking.

Let’s see what kind of groovy stuff they have at their store!

GI Joe 25th Anniversary Carded Wave 11

Face it, you can’t find these figures in stores and even if you could, they might not in a guarantied mint condition like you can get at Brian’s Toys. Hell, you might get trampled by a horse before you find these in stores. Why not buy them now and have some peace of mind?

GI Joe 25th Anniversary Carded Wave 12

Gotta love that yellow Python Patrol “Crimson” Guard. Brings back sweet memories of the time I killed that hobo… I mean got it for Christmas. I think that we all know that you should buy these for that special toy collecting blogger in your life.

I’m talking about me here.

GI Joe 25th Anniversary Carded Wave 13

Wave 13? They went past 11 and 12?! I know it’s hard to believe, but Hasbro must have because Brian’s Toys carries them.

GI Joe Exclusive 25th anniversary Cobra Arctic and Desert Assault Squads

What’s that? You can win these because Brian’s Toys is so awesome that they donated a set for the contest? That may be right, but unless you’re super lucky and win you’ll have to purchase them. Why not buy a pack now as insurance? In the case that you do win you can give them to me.

If you’re sick of scrounging for figures like you’re the Road Warrior fighting for precious oil, then Brian’s Toys makes it easy with their, “One of Each” programs. If you like Star Wars or G.I. Joe, you can sign up and get every single figure in each wave. Not a bad deal if you you’re looking to get every figure and the price averages out to be competitive if you’re used to ordering cases and factor in the savings of time and your precious sanity.

One thing that Brian’s Toys is big on is old ass toys that cost a lot of dough. If you’re looking for rare, vintage Star Wars or G.I. Joe figures they’ve always got something for the super rich. Here’s a couple that stood out for me:

Vintage Boba Fett

The best thing about this Boba Fett is that it’s on sale! Instead of spending $6,499.99, you can get it for only $5,999.99. Just think of all the chicks you’ll get with a Boba Fett this rare and in such great shape. Those poor jerks driving sports cars won’t know what hit them when you steal their girl.

1982 AFA Graded Duke

Duke here will run you about $3,999.99. I have a friend who came up with a phrase that I think is best applied Duke here: “Poop on balls!”

What’s nice is that Brian’s Toys has a print catalog full of all kinds of awesome toys that you either could never afford but would love to own or toys that are hard to find and affordable. It’s one of the items that I receive regularly in the mail that creates instant drooling, along with Victoria’s Secret Catalogs.

And to top off the awesome cake, they even buy toys if you want to unload an entire collection. Nice!

Go now to Brian’s Toys and buy some stuff, this I command!
