Sponsor Spotlight: Sideshow Toys
Have you gotten in your contest entry for the Toys For Tots contest? Why the hell not? You better get on that, Mister or you’re going to miss the chance to win sweet toys and help a child in need. And speaking of sweet toys, not only did 80sTees.com, Brian’s Toys, and Big Bad Toy Store donate to the contest, but Sideshow Toys did as well. Let’s check out their stuff!
Sideshow is known for having high end merchandise. They truly make “collectibles” and not “toys”. Okay, they totally make toys, but you can’t find them at the local Toys R Us or Wal-Mart. Their G.I. Joe line is particularly interesting to me and here’s the full reveal of their Cobra Soldier:
Hot Pants! Good God Y’all!
I have often drooled over their Star Wars figures for some time. Check out this…
It’s Ewan McGregor in toy form from The Island. This figure captures the scene where he had to put on a robe and carry a flashlight at a nerd convention to escape his pursuers. Man, that’s a great flick.
I love the fact that they carry “expansion” packs for your figures like the 12″ in scale holo chess table (also known to my wife as “Wizard Chess”). That’s sweet sauce.
They also have a lot of other items from various other properties.
I can’t help but like Scrooge McDuck after years of watching and loving Duck Tales. I’d want this statue to celebrate how he’s an awesomely rich mother duck.
And if you don’t think you can afford anything Sideshow makes, you’d be wrong! They have a whole slew of stuff on sale… right now! Check all the lovely sale items right here. Also be sure to stop by the site on the 25th for a big reveal.
Now head on over to Sideshow Toys and spend all the money you make bagging groceries on awesome stuff!

Looks like I might not be able to participate in the contest after all, ’cause all our charity dollars went to a project at my wife’s school, whereby they went all Santa Powers Activate! on behalf of two needy families.
I tried telling her that this course of action wasn’t gonna win me any toys, but you know dames…
