Star Trek the Next Generation From Dragon
You know, I don’t mean to turn this into an all Star Trek blog up in here, but hot damn Dragon toys has got some great 16/th scale toys coming out based on characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation that are friggen awesome. I also feel justified in that Star Trek is a little cool again, so it’s okay to talk about it. Shewww. The last thing I need is jocks beating me up again.
First up is Captain Jean-Luc Picard:

Make is so, indeed. I think if I got this Captain Picard I’d carry him around the house and hang out with him My Buddy style.
Then we’ve got Data:

Oh Data, you’re quest to be human was so compelling. So was your aging and weight gain throughout the years. I thought androids didn’t do that!
Finally in this round up there’s Worf, the popular Klingon Warrior who also bangs Troi on the side:

Now these figures are a little pricey. They are for pre-order on Big Bad Toy Store for 120 bucks a pop. Certainly these are for die-hard Star Trek fans that have a job, something that disqualifies me immediately. I’m assuming these figures come with some neat accessories, but I can’t find any info on them. I guess Dragon could use a website like Sideshow so you can see exactly what you’re getting.

For half that you can get a crazy-huge Darth Maul that talks. Just saying.
Also: two posts in one day!

How come they can get the likenesses so close on these, but not on those DST TNG figures? Huh?! And is it me or does the Worf one look weird… he needs to bulk up more!
I think I need to watch some TNG… its been a while…

because the larger your figure, the easier it is to get the likeness right?

From what I can tell, I really enjoy apples.
