Star Wars Battlepack: The Battle of Christophers… or Something

by Paul

Hasbro’s newest Star Wars Ultimate Battlepack named the Battle of Christophsis has been revealed by Jedi Insider and it’s kind of… okay… I suppose.

Don’t get me wrong, I love clone troopers more than most people and I don’t have an AT-PT yet, but there’s a couple things that I don’t really care for. The first is that this set has horrible presentation. What is that tank doing in there? Flipping over? The second is that I already own one Droid tank open and one in a box from a long while ago, so I really don’t need a third. Finally, they packed this set full of the animated style figures. I realize that they’re the new thing to promote the show and that this would work as an army builder set if you collected those figures, but I don’t. I don’t need to collect a whole new line of Star Wars figures, sorry. So this is a real no purchase for me, how about you?

Yeah, I’ll be skipping this for pretty much the same reasons as you.

  2. Esbat Says:

Yay I’m totally getting one! But… no Ahsoka in this one? BOOOOOOO!

  3. Sam Says:

I tend to agree. However, if Star Wars (and toys in general) would come down in price, I might buy this…except that I really hate that animation style.
And what is that tank doing anyway?

  4. yo go re Says:

It’s clones and Battle Droids: the two things that look exactly the same in animated style as they do in the “real world.” This is an army-builder for everyone!

But no, I’m not getting one. Just don’t care…
