Star Wars Figure Update

SirStevesGuide.com has got some more pictures of the Hasbro Star Wars 30th Anniversary Wave 2… in high res! Not as good as 3D, but I guess it will do.
Okay, this really isn’t a re-post of the one I did earlier this week on the same wave of figures as it is a chance to point out the staggeringly cool prototype Boba Fett again and his two interchangeable heads. Yes, being the weird non-figure opener I am, I’ll need to buy two of these (if I can even get my hands on one much less another more than one) to have some fun head switching action.
Good old Boba may be fast becoming what I like to refer to as my Holy Grail figure. The last Holy Grail figure I had was Scorch from Republic Commando and believe me, I was a maniac until my fiancée found him for me. It was only then that I could go back to being a normal man again and not a crazed toy collecting man-child that Scorch had turned me into.

to me Boba has always been one of the more apealing characters, I have quite a bit of Boba Fett stuff and would definitely like to add this to my collection.

Well Keith, I’m really glad to know you’re not in the crowd that thinks its cool to hate boba fett that’s popped up in the last few years.
Although, I gotta admit. I’ve jumped on the Jango Fett bandwagon with full force. I still love his kid, though. Combine this with my obsession with weird color varients and troopers and this is a must have.

Non-opening? BLASPHEMY!
Though I’m right there with you on the variant troopers and the unusual colors. But do you really think Boba here will be that difficult to find? Say what you will about Hasbro, but the recent SW figures have been fairly easy to find at retail. Eventually…

Hey, I did say that I do get two so I can open one. In the class of clones it seems to be dozens… hehe I just love having the whole toy though, the packaging to me is an art form in a way. I don’t care about “worth” to me its an asthetic thing.
Yes, you are right about stuff turning up eventually lately. I just remember how hard it was to find the ralph mcquarrie storm trooper the first time around. Its during that key “I’ve got to have it phase” that I’ve got to have the figure before I start to worry that I won’t be able to get it somewhere other than eBay. Plus, I’ve had no luck in my area finding figures… so I’m naturally a little worried about finding this guy.
